ICHIBAN® CLUTCH PLATE OR PRESS
It is the element through which we govern the transmission of engine torque to the clutch disc. The pressure plate creates a friction system by pressing the clutch disc against the engine flywheel. The amount of force depends on the friction between these elements and the force applied by the pressure plate.
Also called clutch mass, it is a steel disc in the shape of a circular crown. On one side it is attached to the housing of the clutch mechanism, through springs or diaphragm, and on the other side it is attached to one of the sides of the clutch disc. ICHIBAN® maintains strict control over the measurements of both sides, maintaining the settings of the original equipment of each application developed.
